Minimalism

A Modern Living Room doesn’t need a lot of furniture, this room shows that quite clearly. Much more you can give a structure to a completely white room, just floor and wall, with black accessories and a few wooden accents. Although the ceiling, which is above the sofa, is not looked at too much, it is still very much appreciated in the room, because it also gives it more structure through its surface. It is important to have different surfaces and textures in a room, because only they make a room really cozy. For the occupant, the choice of material contributes significantly to whether or not they feel comfortable in a room. The floor of the Modern Living Room has no texture, so it is not a painted white wood floor, nor is it white tile. It appears to be white linoleum, which is basically impossible for us as humans to really classify. In any case, we humans associate it more with coolness. But a modern living room doesn’t have to be cool.

Really minimalist?

The carpet is more than necessary for such a floor in the living room, it gives it the necessary warm surface procurement, as humans would like. The geometric pattern almost completely occupies the space and ensures that for us not only two pictures hang on the wall, but there is also one on the floor. On the one hand, the carpet fits the modern black and white look, on the other hand, it also fits the lamp with its ethnic touch. In the room, there are also gold accents on pillows, the pictures and inside the floor lamp. The gold and the wood provide the warm part in the otherwise cool minimalist room. This way, everything doesn’t seem quite so strict and yet you don’t feel like there are really four colors in the room, because firstly wood and gold are quite similar in the color group and so are considered one, and secondly we don’t really perceive natural materials like rattan or wood as a color.
