Naturalness wins
Nature as far as the eye can see
Nature has moved into this room, so to speak. The color palette ranges from white, to very green, beige to light gray. The braided natural rug in front of the couch is the proverbial foundation for the entire nature living room. The color of the rug is picked up again in the rattan hanging lamp and the curtains in the same scheme create a frame for this ambiance. They are made of a naturally left linen fabric and still allow enough brightness through.
Living with plants
A green living room can also only work if there are real plants in it. Plastic plants would not do justice to the theme and you would be deceiving yourself in a way. That’s why: This living room is for nature lovers only. The greenery doesn’t have to be just in flower pots, it can also do well as a wall decoration wrapped around a trellis. It’s something different for a change and you achieve more naturalness, because the plant itself seems to decide where it grows. The icing on the cake in terms of bringing nature into the house is achieved here with the help of the tree trunk stools. They are unique and definitely no one has at home. An unconventional look in the nature living room.
The modern sofa
The sofa doesn’t necessarily fit into the natural look and is a nice contrast to the rest of the room. It’s straightforward and modern in design, and its gray color adds a new layer of color to the room. Nothing else in the room is gray, so even though the couch wouldn’t really stand out in light gray, it has a special presence in this look. It gives the nature living room the needed level of coziness coupled with a good sense of style.
A berry in the forest
Style mix
The two small tables, the lamp and the grid on the wall stand out very much in black against the white. They come honestly from industrial design but act as beautiful eye-catchers contrasting with the anything but linear room. The frame of the coffee table is silver instead of gray and thus fits all the better to the sofa. This should motivate to mix metals, because different metals, like here the silver and the black, can very well stand together in one room. Silver is not quite as much of a statement as black, which makes the table fade into the background a bit more.It doesn’t play too big of a role in the nature living room.
Eye-catcher
The entire room is in the same colors and looks harmonious in itself. However, to make the room a little bit more interesting, contrasts are an easy way to provide a great eye-catcher in the room. This job is done by the decorative element with the red and orange fairy lights. It’s a great idea to provide a relaxing atmosphere in the evening and you don’t have to constantly put up and take down the string of lights. The warm red contrasts with the cool green of the plants and apples on the table. You could almost think there are red apples in there. The element also stands out because of its round shape and actually doesn’t fit with the geometric straight furniture and accessories. But you can also find red berries in the forest, right?
